Custom Nib Studio

I’m a full-time nibmeister living in Los Angeles with my partner Kyle and two cats. I love pens, books, architecture, and traveling. I trained with nibmeister John Mottishaw for the better part of four years, where I learned tuning, nib customization, and vintage pen repair. I have traveled to Japan and visited with Pilot, Namiki, Platinum, Nakaya, and Sailor. I was lucky enough to participate in Maki-e, gold leaf, and nib tuning workshops while I was there. Since growing up around my grandfather’s print shop in Pennsylvania, I’ve loved both workshops and the written word. It’s always been a dream to have a workshop of my own.
