Working with Stationery Fest invites you to be part of an internationally recognized event that celebrates the global stationery community.


All leadership roles run from late January through mid August 2026 and work closely with the Event Directors and Executive Producer. Must be available on-site during the festival week:
July 26 – August 2, 2026.

Open Positions

Open Position - 1 Leadership Role Available

Operations Leader (FILLED)

Oversees the physical and logistical execution of the festival. Responsible for venue coordination, floor plans, booth set-ups, and overall day-of operations.

⟟ Brooklyn/Manhattan 🕓 10–20 hrs/week 🗒 Jan–Aug 2026 ($2000/month)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with venue (Industry City) staff and vendors

  • Create and manage operational schedules and volunteers

  • Oversee setup, breakdown, and on-site logistics

  • Ensure smooth delivery of inventory to the assigned booths

  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during the event

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1-2 hour planning meeting, and lead volunteer meetings

  • Availability of 10–20 hours per week is required, with flexibility for additional hours as the event approaches

  • Must be available on-site during the festival week: July 26 – August 2, 2026

Exhibitor Leader (FILLED)

Serves as the main point of contact for exhibitors, supporting them from onboarding through load-out to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage exhibitor communications and timelines

  • Support table assignments and exhibitor needs prior and on the day of the events

  • Answer questions regarding exhibitor accommodations

  • Coordinate exhibitor load-in and load-out

  • Support with their marketing and promotional needs

  • Run the exhibitor support desk during the event

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1-2 hour planning meeting, and lead volunteer meetings

  • Availability of 10–20 hours per week is required, with flexibility for additional hours as the event approaches

  • Must be available on-site during the festival week: July 26 – August 2, 2026

  • Japanese bilingual

Sponsorship Management Leader (FILLED)

Manages sponsor relationships and ensures all sponsorship benefits and deliverables are executed clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with sponsors and confirm deliverables

  • Coordinate logo placement, signage, and sponsor recognition

  • Support sponsored projects and activations to ensure brand presence onsite

  • Ensure sponsor satisfaction before, during, and after the event

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1-2 hour planning meeting, and lead volunteer meetings

  • Availability of 10–20 hours per week is required, with flexibility for additional hours as the event approaches

  • Must be available on-site during the festival week: July 26 – August 2, 2026

Guest Experience Leader

Creates an unforgettable experience for Stationery Fest ticket holders from pre-event merch production to aspects of the attendee journey such as smooth entry, clear wayfinding and facilitating a welcome, organized environment.

⟟ Brooklyn/Manhattan 🕓 10–20 hrs/week 🗒 March–Aug 2026 ($2000/month)

Responsibilities

Guest Satisfaction

  • Oversee registration and ticket scanning operations

  • Manage signage, queues, and overall flow of attendees

  • Train and support guest-facing volunteers for the day-of the events

  • Maintain a welcoming, organized, and efficient event atmosphere

  • Answer logistical questions from attendees

  • Assist with customer service emails related to guest inquiries

Merchandise & Guest Materials

  • Design and oversee the production of event merchandise and guest materials (e.g., tote bags, VIP welcome packs, badges, and other attendee items)

  • Coordinate with graphic designer brands and manufacturers on merchandise collaborations

  • Request and compare quotes from vendors to ensure cost-effective production

  • Manage timelines for merchandise design, production, and delivery before the event

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1–2 hour planning meetings and lead volunteer meetings

  • Availability of 10–20 hours per week is required, with flexibility for additional hours as the event approaches

  • Must be available on-site during the festival week: July 26 – August 2, 2026

  • Prior experience with product development is a plus

Marketing & Communications Leader (FILLED)

Leads the festival's messaging and promotion across all communication channels.

⟟ Brooklyn/Manhattan 🕓 10–20 hrs/week 🗒 Jan–Aug 2026 ($2000/month)

Responsibilities

  • Develop social calendars and manage social media, newsletters, and announcements

  • Maintain brand voice and visual consistency of Stationery Fest

  • Support promotional campaigns and ticket sales

  • Coordinate with photographers and content creators

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1-2 hour planning meeting, and lead volunteer meetings

  • Availability of 10–20 hours per week is required, with flexibility for additional hours as the event approaches

  • Must be available on-site during the festival week: July 26 – August 2, 2026

Plus

  • Experience managing a company's social media

  • Appreciation for stationery community

Volunteer Leader (FILLED)

Recruits, trains, schedules, and supports volunteers, ensuring a positive and well-organized volunteer experience.

⟟ Brooklyn/Manhattan 🕓 10–20 hrs/week 🗒 Jan–Aug 2026 ($2000/month)

Responsibilities

  • Build volunteer schedules and role assignments

  • Lead volunteer orientations and training sessions

  • Serve as the main support and point of contacts for volunteers

  • Foster clear communication and strong team morale

Requirements

  • Must be based in Brooklyn or Manhattan

  • Must be able to attend weekly 1-2 hour planning meeting, and lead volunteer meetings
