Kettl began with a sincere desire to make the finest teas of Japan available to customers throughout the world. Kettl’s teas are sourced directly from growers and producers whom they know and visit several times a year. All of their teas are purchased weekly from growers and shipped to their offices in Fukuoka Japan. Working with Japan's most distinguished tea producers has allowed Kettl to develop a discerning customer base who are looking for the best quality. Owners Zach and Minami Mangan continue to build a company based on transparency, honesty, and an obsession with quality. Opened in 2021, Kettl's flagship cafe and gallery space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn offers our complete line of Japanese tea, ceramics and incense. Kettl also continues to support restaurants and cafes - with their clients holding a combined 40 Michelin stars.
