Lily Hoang-Zhu is an illustrator and designer whose work comes in all shapes and sizes for all sorts of things. You might know her as her moniker “liliuhms” across the worldwide web. She is based in sunny Denver, Colorado where she lives with her partner and always hungry dog. She comes from a giant (ever growing) Vietnamese-American family, and is the eldest of 6. She began freelancing full time after graduating in 2020, and has been scribbling away since.

In her work, the world is full of color, whimsy, and sentient objects. Lily’s design sensibilities capture the joy of being exactly who you are, and embraces the necessity of play. She also scratches her creative itch with an original goods brand (liliuhms) where she designs lifestyle goods, clothing and more. Her freelance work also includes toys, product design, packaging, branding, character design, and various illustration odd jobs. Lily’s work has been showcased and licensed globally for brands like CASETIFY, and GIORDANO LTD. Lily is always open to working on exciting projects, collaborations, (or the next paddington bear movie?)

Right now, she’d really like to work on picture books and collaborating with interesting brands!
