OSCOLABO is a stamp-play laboratory created by OSCO, a Japanese stamp maker founded in 1924. The name also brings together “osu”—to press a stamp—and collaboration, expressing the idea of creating something new together.

A stamp does not end with one press.
When the ideas and ingenuity of the person holding it are added,
something that has never existed before is brought into the world.

As hints, materials, and elements for that process,
we create stamps with a minimalist design,
free of unnecessary decoration.

Their beauty emerges through use.
Like art materials,
they embody the Japanese concept of Yo-no-Bi—
the beauty found in objects made to be used.

All OSCOLABO stamps are made one by one at our workshop in Japan.
Drawing on techniques refined over generations,
we value craftsmanship while pursuing product-level quality.
