While my handwriting may be awful, I do enjoy using my hands to make cool stuff!

I sort of stumbled into custom pen making. Seeing Youtube videos of wood working, knife making, and then various projects made using a lathe- my curiosity took over! One Christmas I asked for a small tabletop lathe, and I looked into some inexpensive starter pen kits/blanks.... Down the rabbit hole we go! Once i did everything there was to do with kit pens, I wanted to try making a custom pen! 

I love to collect cool/rare materials. Celluloids, Ebonite, Custom Resins, 

Hosting meets with local makers/collectors is also something that I do on a pretty regular basis, it's so much fun to learn about all of the layers to this niche hobby.
