Volunteer Lead
You’ll gain valuable experience in event management, operations, communication, and teamwork while helping shape one of the first and largest Stationery Festivals in the United States. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing intercultural creative community and help create a thoughtful and welcoming festival experience.
General Requirements
- Available to work approximately 12 hours on site on July 30, 31 & August 1
- Available to visit the site in the days leading up to the event
- Must be based in NYC
- Able to attend weekly Zoom meetings prior to the festival
- Comfortable leading and managing volunteers
- Comfortable directly reporting to Senior Management

Compensation reflects approximately 48 hours including training,
meetings, and on-site work.
Volunteer Leads Needed For
Registration & Welcome Team
- Oversee VIP Desk operations
- Oversee General Admission Desk
- Ensure lines flow safely and efficiently
- Support Lost & Found operations as needed
Courtyard Team
- Assist vendors with line management
- Support demos and activations as needed
- Help guests with customer service questions
- Assist vendors with check-in and logistics
Market Space Team
- Provide logistical support to vendors
- Escalate relevant issues when needed
- Ensure guests feel welcomed and supported
- Answer questions about schedules and locations
- Manage traffic flow and lines throughout the venue
Workshop & Space Walk Team
- Help guests navigate workshops and VIP spaces
- Assist with guest check-in
- Support exhibitors when needed
- Help prepare workshop setups
- Manage attendance and timing
- Reset spaces between sessions
Inventory, Storage & Misc
- Oversee volunteer breakroom operations
- Assist with supplies and inventory runs
- Manage entry and exit points for storage areas
