Sketch Fearless: Loose Lines & New York City Architecture
Led by Jason Nicholas · The INKspired Life
About This Workshop
A relaxed, beginner-friendly urban sketching workshop where you'll capture the energy of NYC architecture through loose, expressive linework.
Working from reference images of iconic New York City landmarks, you'll discover techniques for loose-style sketching, embrace imperfection as your creative superpower, and complete several architectural sketches to take home. You'll be introduced to my SKETCH framework—a practical approach to seeing and drawing with confidence—and learn my quick, wonky guide to one-point perspective, making architectural sketching accessible and fun. You'll also receive a link to download a free copy of my SKETCH Survival Guide.
Whether you're sketching for the first time or returning to drawing after years away, this workshop celebrates messy, authentic marks over polished perfection. No prior drawing experience required—bring curiosity, a willingness to make bold, imperfect marks, and an openness to experiencing NYC's architecture in a whole new way.
